update

Over the weekend, I went up to Lake Wales and spent time with Joe, my best friend Melissa and her 3 kids. I worked yesterday and we were still down in numbers, 1 at 11:30 and 9 or 10 at 10. Today, we had our first women's bible study of the year and had 18 kids. Beth kept her age group in her room and Alison and I had the babies and toddlers in the 2 year old room now. Molly Jane did great with it being her first time at church without Mommy or Daddy. She still stuck to her routine and ate, played some and slept. Once we got back to Amy and Eric's afterwards, we ate lunch, she played for a bit and then slept the rest of the afternoon away. This is just the start of the week for us b/c it will just be the 2 of us tomorrow and Friday but have stuff going on at the church Wed. and Thurs of this week. That is my update for now.

I have had a great month off. I have been spending a bunch of time in Lake Wales on the weekends with Melissa, the kids and Joe. I am looking forward to getting back to work next week though. I have been baby-sitting a little girl named Leighton who is almost 1 a bunch while her Mommy and big brother have gone to the beach and Sea World. I watched Molly for a week while Amy went to teacher training. I can't wait to start to watch her everyday, I am super excited about it! Last Friday, Ashley and I went to Olive Garden to celebrate her birthday a week late and then I had an eye appointment and am trying out contacts made out of silicone which I love so far, they go in much easier, don't rip as easily so far and allow your eyes to breathe. Here are a few pictures. Also, I don't know whether I have mentioned it or not so a few weeks ago, Joe and I, along with Melissa, Chris and the kids went out to eat at Garfield's and it was nice to spend time with them someplace other than their house. Sofia is going to be 1 in Sept but I am missing her party b/c I will be up north with my immediate and extended family celebrating my grandfather's 80th b-day I can't believe Sofia is almost one though, this past year has flown by.

On Friday night, July 3rd, I went up to Lake Wales and hung out with Emmy, Talon, Missy, Sofia and Joe for the day. We went to Wal-Mart, etc and did a brief fireworks show that night b/c I couldn't stay Sat. night b/c I had work on Sunday. On Saturday, we got up early and I ended up hanging out all day at the lake with Joe's family. We hung out and then once Amber and the boys got there, I went with them to get ice and some stuff at Winn-Dixie and out to Amber's to pick up drinks, water, etc. Once we got back to the lake, Amber, me and the boys walked around and let the boys play and go on the pony rides. Lane didn't like the ponies though and Nathan loved them. Lane wanted me most of the day and then we hung out with Robert some from Parties by Robert and danced. Later on that night, we met Melissa, Chris and the kids at the lake and hung out for awhile longer. I had to come home after that and got cleaned up and watched the fireworks with Mom and Dad here. We didn't have many kids on Sunday and then yesterday, I baby-sat for a little girl for the day. Next week, I am baby-sitting Molly before the school year starts and then during the school year. Last weekend, I surprised Joe like a good girlfriend and went up to Lake Wales for Friday and ended up staying Friday night and most of Saturday in town. Once I got there and we got Joe over to Melissa and Chris, he surprised me and me, him and a friend of ours went to Orlando to Margaritaville and did some stuff in Orlando. After we got back, we hung out at Melissa and Chris's and then he went home and we all went to sleep. On Saturday, we got up, hung out and then went to his uncle's briefly for his cousin's wives baby shower. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

I have had a busy week. On Sunday afternoon, we moved all of our stuff over from the church to the middle school which is where Vacation Bible School is taking place this year. I have had 6 or 7 babies every day. It starts at 9 and ends at 12:30 or so. I have most of the kids from church but only the other volunteers kid. VBS itself is only for 2 year olds-5th grade. Most of them know me though so I have had to be holding most of them for them to go to sleep all week for naps, etc. I have 2 girls who are extremely clingy to me, Leighton and then of course my girl Rylie. Ry always decides it is time for her bottle and morning nap when I am feeding Leighton her baby food. Here are a few pictures.

I had a super busy day Sunday. I worked and then after work, I went to BK for me and Joe and headed up the road. Once I got there, we hung out some and then me, Missy, Sofia and Cierra had to run up to Wal-Mart to get some stuff. The party actually started at 3 or so. It was a bunch of fun. After the party, Joe and I went to Woody's to grab dinner and then went back to Melissa and Chris's and I had to head home. Here are some pictures from the party.
